I picked up a Max Lucado book off of m shelves the other day that I thought I never read. I enjoy the way Lucado pens a sentence. He has a way of making a profound statement to sound like a poem.
In his book entitled "It's Not About Me" he said this that I challenge you to chew on for a little bit:
"When our deepest desire is not the things of God, or a favor from God, but God Himself, we cross a threshold. Less self-focus, more God-focus. Less about me, more about Him."
