Friday Scripture Spotlight...

Everyday I try to read a Psalm (for intimacy with God), a Proverb (for wisdom from God), and a verse in a book of the Bible I am journeying through (this week I finished Judges and have started 2 Kings). I believe that the word of God is powerful and effective. It gives me insight into the uncertainties that arise in my life.

Here is a verse that stuck out to me today (have fun wrestling with this one):

"If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor,
he too will cry out and not be answered."
---Proverbs 21:13
