Today I went grocery shopping for our family. Don't worry... Misty didn't leave me, it wasn't state mandated. This is just part of the system I want to create in our house, especially since Misty works so many hours at the Dayschool Center she is the Director of. She made me a list, I brushed my teeth, dressed myself and set off on this grand adventure to Wal-Mart.
One thing that I find terribly suspicious though is that whenever she does the shopping she always comes back saying they were all out of the snack foods that I like that she doesn't (Star Crunch, Nutty Bars, Little Debbie Waist Expansion Packet, etc.) While I was shopping I noticed they were stocked up full of my favorites. So what did I do???
I bought them while supplies last. Misty has yet to see all of the additions I made to the grocery list (which as it turns out is loaded full of sugar and pudding). I suppose I am writing this as proof that I went grocery shopping at least once in my life before Misty banned me from buying food every again.
